Question about Ejecting

Hi, I'm the native UN Delegate of my founderless region. I have been with the region for quite some time now and have been delegate for 39 days.

Some of the members in the region are causing troubles and are unwanted by the genearl populus. They are also considered 'native' as they have been in the region as long as myself if not a bit longer. The region is also passworded.

I was wondering if I am allowed to eject these troublemakers from the region and leave them on the regional ban list.

I know founders can do this, but I haven't seen it say anywhere that native UN Delegates are allowed to eject and leave members on the regional ban list- All I've seen is statements that a Invading Delegate cannot do so. I am not an Invader of the region- nor was I ever. I entered and was elected at free will of the inhabitants.

So can I eject these members and leave them on the ban list (its only a few, so I wouldnt be overstepping the amount of legal ejections)? Or does the "no natives on the ban list" rule apply to ALL UN Delegates.

If for some reason it does- can i eject them, remove them from the list-but not give them the password? Again- all ive seen is references to invading delegates, not native delegates.

Forgive me if this is stated somewhere else and I failed to see the post.

Thanks for any reply

native delegates don't have to give out the password and can ban a few natives, not entirely sure on how many the mods would call legal or illegal.

in the meantime...native delegates are not allowed to clear spam, and if you see any flaming posts or other bad ones, you can always report through the getting help page, if you do it logged in you can add the message board to the report.

this is all how i think it is though, so not entirely sure..

If there are a lot of them (~20-40% of the region) I'd be very reticent about banning any but the most egregious offenders. I've heard of a case of a native delegate being DEATed for ejecting large numbers of natives, even though, IIRC, most of them weren't left on the ban list. Get the Mods involved, but be wary of 'Mods as a Weapon' or being accused of impersonating a moderator (threatening DEAT has been known to get you DEATed.).

If there are fewer, under ~20%, go ahead and ban.

In The One-Stop Rules Shophttp://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=416023
states: Delegates may (if given access to the Regional Controls) do many of the same tasks as the Founder, but they are not permitted to empty the region, clear spam, or turn off Regional Controls. Delegates do NOT gain founder rights on the death or absence of the Founder. If a Delegate ejects a large group of nations (typically more than 40%for Native Delegates or 10% for Invaders), they can be considered a griefer and will be deleted.

So, if you are ejecting just a few natives or less then 40% of the natives you should be fine.

The no natives rule on the ban list only applies for invaders/region crashers. You are not an invader delegate, therefore you are ejecting/banning a native who has (hopefully) deserved an ejection. Just look at the One-Stop Rules Shop if you need more reference, the link is: http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=416023

Thank you so much for the fast replies! It's 5 members out of 27, which is 18.5%, so I'm gonna go ahead with it.

Thanks you all so much for your help, I'm sure the region will be alot more peaceful and smooth now ;) Oh and I guess I should have just reported the posts to the mods instead of clearing the board- Sorry about that! I'll keep that in mind for next time.

Again thank you for your help.

You're correct.
