Some time ago, my region's founder (in fact, every nation in my region with the exception of me and my puppet state) ceased to be. I found myself officially bored. It went on like this for some time, then a group of region crashers came along and put a password on the place. They have since left, but I, Baking Soda, would like to prevent any other nation from passing through with the intent of region crashing. Quite simply, I wish to refound the region of SR Control under the nation of Baking Soda, if it's not too much to ask.My thanks in advance to the mods who may or may not help me sort out my predicament.

mods wont normally appoint a founder unless it is VERY exceptional circumstances.
You'll probably just get told to move the nations out of the region, wait for the update to delete the empty region and refound it like that.

Just leave it, wait one day and refound it. No problem...

Well, if you control all (2) natiosn in the region you can move out and refound it after the update.

In my experience, you only have to wait at max 12 hours, because regions delete at the daytime update as well.

The only thing I can suggest that you do is to have you and the other nation move out of the region, let it die, then refound it.

We don't make someone else a founder unless it's a very bad circumstance (almost always the region being griefed), and this doesn't seem like one of those circumstances.
