What's up with this thread? - It's no wonder why Christians are taking heat! - This is trolling and flamebating at it's finest and I find it offensive and uncalled for. Please do something! And please keep an eye on this thread as well, for I feel more attacks well ensue here as well. Good day!

Unbelievable! Where and what exactly did I say to start it? I never attacked, nor mocked nor used vulgarities of any sort. But others before me and before I even read the thread were loosely tossing insults at Christians. Amazing! The lies and venom some people will spew without any regards whatsoever. And then there's others that will take their side without any hesitation or knowing the facts, just because they agree with said agenda. People with no conscience whatsoever. Sad but true! Anyway, have a nice day!

People who disagree with you aren't automatically evil, deluded, or immoral. To suggest they are is most definitely flaming, trolling, and worse, not very smart on your part, UNLESS your intent is to turn the thread into an acrimonious morass.
You need to take your sanctimonious, self-righteous, reactionary opinions to another thread where the only people posting agree with you. I doubt there is such a place, but I wish you luck in finding it.
It's not here, and it never will be.

At the very best, they are completely unsubstantiated, and as an atheist - who primarily, but not exlusively, associates with atheists - I can tell you it's deeply untrue. Even if it were, your constant stream of essentially pointless posts add nothing to the discussion in question.

Just defending the truth! If someone attacks me, it's not flaming. However, if I should attack someone (which I never do, I defend myself only), then I'm considered to be flaming. Interesting how that works.
As far as you saying it's not here, and never will be, I most certainly agree. However, I choose to be here. It also seems that as far as people being sanctimonious, self-rightgeous with reactionary opinions are on the other side of the fence. And lastly, I don't require luck, for I have GOD! Good day!

Just defending the truth!What you believe to be the truth. By all means state your opinion, but part of the point of posting in General is to debate. In order to debate, one must argue articulately instead of adding two-line posts, without any evidence, that add little if anything to the course of the discussion.

It was my understanding that the term 'reactionary' applied only to far right/authoritarian opinions, and therefore could not be applied to the other side of the fence (ie. libertarian ideas/the political left) that you speak of. Just to jump in here, blaming Arnburg for all the flaming in the thread is unfair. I consider it to have started in post 5 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9965348&postcount=5) where the comment was made about rounding up all fundamentalist Christians and carting them off to a labour camp. If that wasn't antagonistic, I don't know what was.
Nevertheless, I think Arnburg probably added fuel to the fire, but only out of frustration. To lay all the blame at his feet is a bit rich.
Whatever, the thread's locked now, so let's just forget about it eh?
