I havent looked through the whole thread, but the first three pages already included descriptions of orgies and oral sex. At the very least this is spam having nothing to do with politics.

General is NOT all about politics. Thank god. But although I love a good sex thread, it seems they're sprouting up everywhere right now. I don't want sex threads to get a bad name just because some people take it a bit far (including perhaps myself). Then again, Kat was in that particular thread and didn't warn anyone...as long as it doesn't get too graphic, or turn into cyber-sex, what's wrong with it? If you really want politics...well...I sex can be a pretty political issue when you think about it.

The problem is that there are a lot of young kids who frequent these forums. This is, afterall, the forum for a game. In a different forum, I would not have a problem with it, but here its just inappropriate. General is the laid back portion of a game used by people who want to pretend to be pirates, space heroes, evil dictators, zombie nations, d&d warriors, etc. Its just not appropriate for here.

Yeah, I'll admit even I have been more graphic than usual. So perhaps it IS time to step back and make sure that things are spoken of in general, not specific terms, and that it has a purpose beyond just talking about sex. Like I said, I don't want all sex threads to get a bad name...some are very educational (seriously) and allow people to ask questions and get answers to things they might not feel comfortable with talking about in real life.

I see one has been closed (presumably for spam...it didn't really have much of a purpose).
