I really don't expect him to get an official warning -- and, to be honest, I don't think he really needs one, but I think it is in call for a fire extinguisher -- have a mod calm him down a bit. As it goes, it is best to put the stove fire out when it starts than let it spread to the rest of your kitchen, and more drastic measures need to be taken.
