I think what's more sad is it's an ex-mod starting the nastiness, from what I can see. Previous, looked to be simple debate. Interesting, that, especially seeing how hard Neut used to come down on everyone else for things.

While I'm not sure why I specifically got singled out for my personal attacks when they happen in every thread in General...I do have one question that this brings up:
If I am proven right (which this thread, and the other simliar ones have proven me right on), was it a personal attack or simply stating evidence-based fact?
And since when is it being excessively rude when for pages and pages we were being extremely forgiving of Avalon's ignorance.
It's a sad day indeed when calling someone an idiot is enough of a flame to get a warning...
Perhaps I should not have been so blunt with my comment, then it would just have been 'heated debate' that happens in every political thread in General, right? While I know that using the excuse of not being the only one is hardly going to clear my name, my question is why was I singled out for something so benign as calling someone an idiot simply because someone other than the individual in the thread thought I was being "excessively rude."
