Just plain wrong.

Granted, posting that sort of thread is just asking for trouble in General, but when comments like this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9896891&postcount=14) start popping up right away ...
Steal a gun and blow your brains (if there's any) to the wall. No. No flaming. Just a sincere suggestion.
Honestly, now.

I am NOT trying to excuse Madnestan. Also, I know my post which followed was possibly also unacceptable, and I'm not trying to excuse that either. But what are the 'rules' in Spam/Chat regarding jurisdiction? Can an NS mod punish someone for a post in Spam, Chat or another non-NS Jolt forum?
(If this post was made while the thread was still in General - mine wasn't, so I assumed the one previous wasn't, either - then the question becomes irrelevant, so nevermind.)

Hrm ... I thought that was General. Did it get moved? Still sick, but yeah, I suppose that changes things so far as jurisdiction.
And yes, Gruen. You should be slapped for your post. Not nice. *whaps*

It's spammy, but it's not necessarily spam like the others, in that it does at least have 'a political issue' at heart. Well, sort of.

Madnestan is a Nationstates player, and posted what he did while the thread was being merged and moved over to Chat. Within the minute's time that it was being moved, I'm assuming Madnestan seen it and made the comment as it was moved. He has been banned from NS for 3 weeks; however, he may post in spam, chat, or any other Jolt forum except NS.

It's fine until it becomes explicit. In that case, report it.

You're just a bit more than "severe" today. Any particular reason? :(

Not really. It just so happens that a lot of the people I've been dealing with today have past warnings and such, which makes the punishment more severe when they break the rules again.
