So that I may not transgress again ...

... please explain to me why the word "pissed" was altered to "miffed" in my thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?threadid=452424) title. In context, the meaning was clear: irritated, angry, upset, etc.

I'm not "miffed" about the change, although a better word could have been substituted, just curious about why. :)

I'm not the Moderator who acted in this case, but I'll take a guess.

Swearing, while not forbidden in-and-of-itself, should not be used in excess. Additionally, since thread titles get more attention than posts, you should avoid using swear words in thread titles.

This is a small thing, and like many small things, we're not going to slap you for it unless we think it's becoming chronic or it's compounding another offense (such as swearing while flaming another player). However, do be aware of it.

As always, players are expected to use common sense and self-restraint in these matters.

I'm suprised a mod didn't lock it, it's such a flame baiting title.
