It's widely accepted as a terrible resolution, but a 600-reply debate is pretty rare, and I notice a dirth of UN debates in the Archive. Thus, not necessarily for absolute quality, but for the sheer volume, I believe this could make a valuable addition.

If you go to the UN forum and click on the word "Replies" at the top of the column, it'll sort highest-to-lowest. Pretty amazing how many topics got into the 500s or higher.

I don't think the thread itself is particularly notable for quality of debate or anything like that. Since it's linked on the NSwiki UN Timeline (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/UN_Timeline) along with every other debate, I don't see any urgency in archiving it.

Besides, the main purpose of the archives was to protect from the regular purges. We haven't purged since moving to Jolt, and I don't think we have any plans to start again.
