"Well, one day, I went to click on the lovely NS forums link in my bookmarks, and a strange thing came up. Instead of the forums coming up as normal, I got a ban message. From what I've heard when talking to other people, usually such bans would be... a) temp bans at first, and b) before that even, just warnings. Neither of these have happened, and I can't imagine what I might have done to be banned. So did I actually (unknowingly) do something, or did some weird bug happen?"


He was just wondering if he did something wrong....? I don't know if I'm supposed to post for another nation of not, but he seems to be IP banned for a reason he's not quite sure of. He was going to create another nation and log onto the moderation forum, but was unable to, he just gets:

You have been banned for the following reason:
None

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Well, posting round a ban is bad. Even if the ban wasn't yours.

That said, this sounds a bit like all the craziness that hit the forums a few days (maybe a week) ago. Do you know when this happened, and has Nureonia tried again recently? (like, today)

I told him I would post for him, I just felt bad that he didn't know what he had done to be banned.

I tried linking him directly to the forums today, but he was unable to log on. He said his nation has also been deleted, which he noticed around Sunday-Monday.

He could ask the mods in the irc chatroom, ask them politely though... they have been known to go on full scale rampages, destroying cities and country sides in their wake... that is if people arent polite.

Indeed, I suggested it, and he's decided to plead his case before the mods on IRC....scary :)

When a nation ceases to exist, the shutdown process also includes an indefinite forumban. If you don't play the game, you can't post on the forums. Reasonable, no?

C'mon, at least visit the game once in a while. It gets so lonely sometimes.
