It was a stupid thread to start with, and it has just turned into mutual preening between two people entirely related to the topic and, it would seem, anything really. I think it should be shunted over to Spam, or maybe Chat. Or just destroyed.

There wasn't much of a discussion. Pretty much everyone agrees. The few dissenting points that arose were addressed. I'm not sure what more you were looking for out of the thread. You seem bothered by this, but it's run it's course.
