I've just received a TG from a friendly fellow RPer who, thanks to Jolt, can't get onto the forums. He asked me to post a few lines on his behalf. They're non-inflammatory, etc, and I've checked his nation by going to The World, where it comes up as an existing nation.

Is this enough checking to let me post safely, or do I have to send a Getting Help request to make sure he's not forumbanned or anything? (I've no reason to think he would be, he's very polite.)

He should be able to get in by following a link to the forums directly, if he is not forumbanned.

Note that DEAT !=forumbanned. If he were prevented from posting for 3 days, his nation would not be deleted.

If you wish to find out if your friend is asking you to risk being banned yourself, please inquire on the GHP page where we can straighten this out without any unpleasantness.
