Normally I absolutely disregard the kind of people who do this, but it seems absolutely too coincidental that this thread happens to pop up with at least FIVE hot Christian topics on the General board right now. He doesn't even seem to make an attempt at fairness from the start:

Though everybody is doing a commendable job staying civil when I refrained from posting, I couldn't help but notice that OutpostCommand seemed to be attempting to elevate the convseration to more incensing levels:

Like I said, I usually try to keep quiet and ignore this kind of stuff, but this one I find very personally offensive mostly because OutpostCommand seems to really want an argument here.

I actually held off a long time before deciding to report it, to be honest. I know it's a lot more mild than a lot of the stuff the mods probably have to deal with, but I was under the impression that any and all possible rule-breaking was encouraged to be reported. Worst-case scenario, they agree with you and think I'm overreacting, and I humbly apologize for wasting their time.

Edit: on a brief check-in I noted that he's been changing some of his posts -- whether it's because he knows he's likely to really rub somebody the wrong way, because he read this, or because he just decided to be more civil is a mystery to me.

Well he is telling Christians to 'fight back', I'd say that was pretty much baiting.

Seriously, I guess that's good, and leads to less work by NS's Finest ( :rolleyes: ) and more civil debate by other NSers.

Part of me believes that it's somewhat because he's been offline since the thread really took off with an even atheist/theist blend, but like I said, very soon after I actually posted this he started getting a hell of a lot more polite.

Outpost Command has a history of not being to good at RPing or posting on these forums. It wouldn't surprise me if he edited to avoid trouble. I'm not meaning to slander him, but I've been near him, and he hasn't acted to upstanding.
