it seems trollish to me, but I could be oversensitive to being called stupid.

I don't get it. Why do you ask mod permission to ignore something? I don't believe he is calling you stupid.

I wasn't asking permission to ignore it.

sometimes things are said that are over the line and trollish sometimes the mods say "you need to get a thicker skin" because I haven't been around long I am not sure where the line is. I was asking for clarification, I will ignore it either way, repying has no purpose, I just wanted to know if it was against the rules or not.
