they seem to spring up (again). i just searched the sticky rules threads and couldn't find it but..wasn't there a rule against them at some point? correct me if i'm halluzinating and i'm not asking to ban them, by all means, i like them, but i wanted to clarify this (mostly for myself)

edit// aah, the things one can do with a little help by PM: this is the part i was referring to, i guess:
Let's put the official kibosh on the resurging "Ask a ... whatever" threads again. They've been banned at least twice, and they seem to be starting once again.

"Ask a ..." threads will be locked, moved to spam, deleted, or whatever the mod feels is appropriate. Spam warnings and forumbans may be issued for egregious offenders.

That is all.

The last I read only the "ask a muslim" thread was allowed.
