I'm sorry, but I fail to see whats so insulting to them, I mean if people are gay, they ARE gay right? So whats the deal?

I'm probably wrong, and tired, and having fever doesn't help either but please explain.

Gay is just another word people use nowadays. I didn't see any posts disparaging homosexuals. Might as well get used to the fact that not everyone is as sensitive as you, Fass.

It's offensive because it equates gay with bad. He's not telling us how much his life rocks, but how much it sucks. And I as a gay person take offence at this negative depiction and homophobic slur.

How about having a bit of thick skin? If you realy want to report it, fine with me, but people seem to report even the slightest thing they find, its your right but to report its my right to question it(within reason).

Every single gay friend I have laughs at the use of the word gay. Grow up and accept it. The meanings of words change. Gay meant 'happy and joyful' then turned into homosexuality. Now its very well known that it is just another word for something bad. Oh well, I believe you taking offense is quite funny. Hope your pleased :)

Every single gay friend I have laughs at the use of the word gay.That may be YOUR gay friends who do that. Fass and I both take offense to something that is such an ingrained part of who we are being equated with something negative in that fashion.

And, again, I don't care how many people use it or what you wish to equate it as - ******, and chink and gook were widely used and did not cease being offensive just because the people who used them tried to claim that they weren't. Gay people fought long and hard to reclaim the word and I will not stand for this homophobic attempt at sullying it. You find my reaction funny, I find your action sad. And, yes, I will be a thorn in the side of people who think this sort of puerile behaviour is acceptable.
