Impossible, mods have said countless times that they will not delete nations on request.

Go to options, remove your email, scramble your password and wait for 28 days.

And do NOT even think of breaking any rules that will get you deleted.

Here's a better idea - Move it into the region called "Bobs Used Nation Sales". Then it doesn't have to be deleted, and a nation who might want the name in future can claim it again :)

No offense, but that's not a better idea. The problem with picking up giveaway nations is that you also pick up their negative history.

Do you really want to be the puppetmaster of a nation that had other nations deleted for griefing, flaming, or whatnot? Unless you KNOW the other player and the history of that nation, you're reaching into a cookie jar that also contains live scorpions. You wanna take chances and get all your nations deleted? That's a good way to do it.

And no, mods aren't going to do nation history searches for you on giveaway nations, so don't bother asking.

you say that you can scramble your password but it has a password confirm button which kind of defeats the objective of making up a password you wont remember.
I realise it is nesecary to have it there but its when people keep saying you can scramble it. Thought i might just point it out.

You could copy/paste chinese/japanese characters. They will convert to numerological characters, while doing so, but you won't see it. Unless you copy paste it again, you'll never guess it. Erase the email off it, and create a new nation. You'll never be able to log in again. I can't imagine why someone would wanna kill a nation, so it's just a theory of mine.

I would recomend more... just close your browser, never look back. If you really want your nation just to die, thats the ticket. You aren't interested in the nation so why even go to so lengthy ideas as give it away or change password and erase email etcetera. The benefits is of course that if you by some strange heartily burning sensation would like to view your nation again you may have the chance to do it.

How about 'show a little control, a smidgen of backbone, and just don't log in for 28 days'? Honestly, people. It's almost scary how many of these we see in Moderation. "Help me, I'm adicted to your life-sucking evil game, can't stop playing, and it's all your fault. Delete my nation as I have no free will ... that I'll ever admit to ... and want someone else to blame/take care of it for me."

As if they couldn't just turn around and create a new one the second they changed their mind anyway.

Choice and accountability, folks. It's high time more people learned how that works.

Kinda sounds like you're giving the impression that you're a moderator.

...you posted in Moderation too. And her sig in fact states 'NOT A GORAM MOD'. I think you'd be the only one getting that impression.

Moderators are not the only people who look in Moderation. We do have some regulars who pay attention to things here and there. Dread Lady Nathicana has been here for quite a while, and has noticed these things, seeing as she has given her advice and input here and there, because of her knowledge of the moderation forum. There's nothing wrong with that.

There's nothing particularly Modly in that statement - semantically that's equally likely to be a "player-inclusive we" as a "moderator-inclusive we", and the Dread Lady has helpfully provided a little statement in her signature saying "Not a goram mod".

The whole "Elvis/JFK's disembodied brain/<insertnamehere> is actually Moderator X/[violet]/Max Barry/JFK's disembodied brain" conspiracy has been done to death already.

Enough of that now.

What they said.

The day I speak as though I'm a mod, will be the one I am one, not before. And as we all know that is never going to happen ... relax, man. It's all good. ;)
