Is there a way for players to find out how close they are to being DoS? or how many warnings they have under their belt?

I mean I got some unoffical warnings but nothing official, however, several players I know got Banned 2 or 3 times. so I was just wondering if there is a 'Rap' sheet or something available to the players.

I should think that since we send a telegram telling people when they have broken game rules, and we make the official forum warnings pretty openly available (example -- official warning: forumbanned for three days), a player should be able to keep track for him or herself how much /she has to worry.

Are all warnings 'lumped' together or is each type of offense (flaming, trolling, spamming... etc) all counted separately?

There's essentially three types of infractions:
Major: Insta-DEAT
Minor: Warn, then DEAT
UN Proposal: Warn twice then eject

"Major" would be porn posting, severe forum violations, griefing, that sort of thing.

"Normal" trolling, baiting, spamming, flaming; bad flag, animal, currency, motto, RMB posting; etc. all fall under "Minor". If you've been warned for flaming, and then change your flag to something unacceptable, you'll be deleted. They don't count as separate.

UN Proposals don't (normally) count towards deletion. If you have two UN Warnings and then flame someone, it still only counts as one "minor" offence. Now, if you're tossed out of the UN for proposing something like "Kill All The Filthy, Dogfucking Jews", then it most certainly would count towards deletion (in theory, if bad enough, we might just delete your ass outright).

DoS happens after we've decided that we've had enough of a chronic rule breaker. If you appear to exist only to be a pain in the ass, you'll probably be DoS after your second or third nation (especially if this happens in the span of, say, 10 minutes). If you're someone who just can't seem to follow the rules, but go long periods between warning and/or deletion, you'll probably go through more nations before we finally get sick of you.

This isn't set in stone, of course, and it's very subjective.

However, if you've already had three nations deleted, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out that you're on borrowed time.

Yup, mods are nice long as your nice too.

Few things to remember though;

Don't post on behalf of anyone thats forumbanned, lest you want one yourself.

Don't let a DOS player use your nation, mods are twitchy about that, I believe Communist Lousinana got his DOS for letting Facist White States(a DOS) use his nation.(that and he couldn't seem to keep to the rules)

Before you report a flame, make sure you weren't flamebaiting, you'll probably get warned too.(speaking from experience x.x)

Don't be an ignorant bastard, don't report everyone that even slightly says something bad about you, the mods will get bored of you very quickly if they see you reporting a dozen offenses against you per day.

Probably a few more that I can't think of real quick.

Oh yah, don't go around insulting mods, they have long memories....
