Hello, I have a problem...

Communist Canadiana

I am Thomas Daniel Swan, I live in Canada, me and my Brother live in the same house, and use the same computer.

We have both been recently kicked from the UN permanently, and although suspicious, this is a wrong that must be turned right.

My nation is Communist Canadiana, and my brother Chris's is the Socialist Canadian. My country did endorse him however, which may have led you (the moderators) to believe that only one person controlled each country. Another Country, Norman Swan, (which is his name too) is one of my cousins from Alberta whom told me about this game, but he made his afterwards.

I therfore request that all our countries be taken off the banned from the UN list, on behalf of my Brother Chris, my cousin Norm, and me, Tom. Please, I want this game to be fun for us, and because of this, it has bcome somewhat boring. Thank you.

As has been covered numerous times in the past, though you may be unaware having not read the stickies on this or some such:

If you and another player use the same computer, sometimes even the same network, you cannot have both nations in the UN. Mods cannot tell just by looking at names or anything else if there is more than one person behind the screen or not. Same IP, tough cookies. Many have made such requests in the past. I can't think of a one that's been granted.

Sorry folks - that's just how it works.

Regardless, in case you weren't aware, there are many other ways to play that don't require UN membership. If the areas you prefer do, you have my sympathy. Best of luck finding something else that works for you.

Q: My friends operate those other UN member nations. We all share the same computer.
A: I'm sorry if that's the case. There is no way for the game to tell how many people are on the other end of a computer. For this reason, breaches of UN rules involving only two members are usually punished with expulsion, not deletion.

However, please note this important point: we cannot take your word on how many people are really behind your computer. This is not because you are untrustworthy, it's simply that otherwise there is no way to enforce the UN rules.

Q: But that's not fair!
A: True, and again, I'm sorry if you and your friends have been punished unjustly. However, this is the closest we can come to fair. If we accepted people's explanations that they were using a public computer with their friends, we would have to let people create as many UN nations as they like. This would destroy the whole point of the UN.

The line has to be drawn somewhere, and thus, fair or not, the rule must stand.

Thank you.sympathies my friend, I and my co-workers participated in this game but since we used the same ip port, we all lost our nations. we simply created other nations and we decide on who goes to the UN and vote on the issues using that one UN nation.
