My thread for longest english world was locked for being a word game, when it had completly no intention of being one. All i did was label the longest word, after which someone requested a non-acidic word, which i then posted. People then began to post their thoughts/ oppions, after which it was locked. Why is that ?

Regardless of your intent, it read like a word game. It was reported as such here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=444320), I agreed, and it was deleted. See the One Stop Rules Shop, where it says that word games are not allowed.

Oh, and next time, ask in Moderation, not Technical.
