I cant find the rules for refounding regions particularly what a existing founder can do, like eject nations. (I know a delegate cant do that).

I did look in the stickies but I couldn't find it!
Can someone tell me where it is?

Thank You!

How can I become my regions founder?
There is only one way to become a regions founder: FOUND IT! You have to create the region out of empty nothingness.

But my region doesn't have a founder/has a dead founder and we want to get it one
If you have an old region with no founder or your founder died, then to get a new founder you must get everyone to move out of the region and re-create it after it is deleted at the next update. DO NOT become delegate and boot them - that's called greifing, and it'll get you in trouble. The delegate could (and probably should) password protect the region on the way out, though.

The mods have said they will only appoint founders in the most extreme cases.

Thanks but what I want to know is about founders being able to eject nations to refound a region (like if they misspelled the name maybe or wanted a different nation to be the founder).

Look at the post from the Mods' TG in God to see why I have this question. I never heard of it before and am looking for the rule.

"Refounding MUST be done voluntarily by anyone who is not the Founder nation."

Than You!

A founder may eject whomever he wishes, whenever he wishes, even to ther point of ejecting everyone from the region and abandoning it for dead. However, this is not a factor in the region "God".

God was founded by the nation of Holy Wars, who was deleted for rulebreaking. The message was sent to the current delegate, Armed Love, whom (if memory serves) is a native. In such a small region (four members), the delegate has to be extremely careful when ejecting nations, as one would be 25% and 2 would be 50%. Given that the griefing rule-of-thumb is generally considered to be 40%, Armed Love was given a 'friendly warning'. Ejecting "The Kikuyu" was fine, but the next one could have gotten him deleted.

I should note that the former owner of "Holy Wars" may have puppets in the game or in the region. This is irrelevant. Foundership resides with the nation, NOT the player.

Just wondering, Why is it like that?
The player owned the nation that founded the region...

It's for verification purposes. We don't want to spend our lives checking out claims that "I didn't grief - it was my puppet!" A casual visitor notices a lot of ejections, goes to check, and sees that it's the founder. End of concern.

Casual visitor checks the ejections and sees that it's the delegate and the region has been griefed, they file a mod report and we check it out.Simple.

Thank You, Frisbeeteria.

I was not asking about God though but I was asking about the other part "A founder may eject whomever he wishes, whenever he wishes, even to ther point of ejecting everyone from the region and abandoning it for dead."

I did not know that part and could not find it anywhere in the FAQs or stickies. That was the part I wanted to understand.

Thank You,
