At this point, we don't really care what you think. You've been declared Delete on Sight since long before I became a mod, and it's obvious to all readers that you don't think Max and [violet]'s policies apply to you.

So, you're a clever lad, and can continue to sneak around the various barriers we toss in your path. So what? All your nations will be deleted as we spot them. You're DoS. Take the friggin' hint, and go play somewhere else.

Though,.. I may in fact tone down whatever it is that people take as
so "offensive". Or at least find ways of making said offensiveness palatable.

My real question to you mod folks is this: Why on earth do you ban when it
would be more conducive to interesting conversation to simply allow people
who don't want to hear those they feel are "bad" in some way to be /ignored?

You put WAY too much pressure on yourselves by becomng the enforcement

I'm not sure what it is that you think we're supposed to be impressed with. I've seen your posts and they are unnecessarily rude and insulting, both discouraging reasonable discourse. Interestingly, you seem to think people should be amazed that you have this ability. All the children in my family are taught to be polite and to avoid being insulting to other people particularly in other people's homes. They were born knowing how to be rude and insulting. Should we be impressed that you know how to breath next?

Or is that you think your defiance makes you some kind of revolutionary fighting against oppression? Maybe if I give you a ride in my car sometime you'll rebel against my oppressive rule of requiring a seatbelt to ride in my car. Most posters are happy to see the mods enforcing rules that encourage intelligent debate and discourage pages and pages of rude, ignorant, insulting rhetoric that anyone over two is capable of (not actually referencing anyone in particular just suggesting it would degrade into this).

It would be particularly impressive if you chose today and now to realize that being respectful is by far more difficult than any of the above and you chose today and now to begin doing so by realizing that the owners and administrators of this site no longer wish to have you in their house and choosing to leave.

well Oekaiiii, you can have discussions and debates without getting personal, Insulting and condensending. such maneuvers only leads to name calling and really gets off the topic. The Mods try to keep things civil but outright defying them is just plain wrong and disrespectful.

Maybe if he actually were amusing. Or half as witty as he thinks himself to be. Or nearly as intelligent as he'd like us to believe by the simple use of somewhat elevated vocabulary.

Perhaps this is his way of pretending to have a life, sitting around and mocking/taunting/annoying a bunch of annonymous people on a free web game. Even the most simple of minds should be able to see that bans come into play when a person becomes so universally an irritant that the majority of users shouldn't HAVE to all resort to the ignore function on the count of one stupid sod. And that resources shouldn't have to be wasted on their filling up page after page of useless drivel that no one would be reading but themselves if everyone DID just ignore.

And THAT'S where we disagree. My "rudeness" and "insultingness" simply
polarizes the interested parties. That is it's FUNCTION. It encourages a "rush
of adrenaline" that will either prompt the poster to greater critical perspective
of what they think they mean, or it will send them away, screaming, because
they can't defend their opinion without being overwhelmed by their own
emotions.

My people are taught the same thing. I'm always very polite in other venues,
but this venue is one where "rudeness" is actually useful, and very nearly
necessary to pry people off their preconceived notions BECAUSE we (as
posters) have NOTHING invested in what we say or what others say due to
the inconsequenciality of this venue (an internet forum)..!

You can be amazed at how I breathe, if you wish. Actually, you don't know
how easy or difficult that may in fact be for me, so there may be some merit
in your finding out.

But, no,.. I'm not much of a revolutionary. I'm more an "evolutionary". I can
see where tightly confined topical areas (the other fora [thanks for the latin
for this by the way!]) would need strict enforcement of rhetorical rules.

BUT,.. a general discussion area should be a free for all. The obvious tool to
combat those that "piss you off such that you're disinclined to converse with
them" is the /ignore switch.

Your concept of boundaries, in this case, is flawed. Unless you can find a
way to make it either impossible or more difficult than acceptable for me to
enter here, this is not YOURS to be OWNED.

I personally hate terrorists. When I enter here under "false pretenses" (as
you see it) due to your having banned me, I am indeed acting as a terrorist.

But the term "false pretenses" is in question here. If I'm here to simply
converse, which is the stated purpose of the "general" forum, in a way that I
do not find OVERLY (or seriously) offensive (but which is still against
the "house rules"), while still seeing others being just as "offensive" as myself,
whom I deal with as I wish (I'll talk to them or not) as opposed to crying
to "mommy", then I do not consider myself a "terrorist". Merely a participant.

In this case, after having been "unjustly" (meaning!? :) ) banned, a
participant in the "meta-game" of the "general" forum.

Should I just go back to my "terrorist" ways, in the general forum, under a
"disguise",.. or are we not done here quite yet?

It's true. I really SHOULD be doing more constructive work. Though,.. so
should you folks as well.

I'm not a "universal irritant". I annoy only those who choose to be annoyed
by me, and that minority has an undue influence over the forum enforcement
of "rules".

The forum is yours to enforce as you will. It is also the right of all entrants to
express thenselves as they will, as long as they are also willing to take the
consequences. I'm perfectly willing to "play this little RP" with you. :)
