Is calling an entire group of people idiots, crackpots, stupid, or ignorant flaming? I have run across people doing it lately and I got very offended but I don't want to assume that just because it made me mad that it was flaming. I don't want to report someone if they aren't breaking the rules.
when is it going to far? please explain.

Calling an entire group of people an offensive name could qualify as trolling. The seriousness of it depends on the context. If you think that someone may be breaking the rules, post it in here, and we'll look at it.
