What flamebait?
I don't ask that people hang on my every word. I do expect people to actually read what they complain about. I personally think the thread was evolving into an interesting and thought-provoking discussion, and my original sarcasm was in a small way a catalyst.
Personally, I don't think the person who complained actually read anything of the thread (and said person has posted many more annoying/controversial threads than I have. I have a healthy dislike of hypocrisy.)
Putting all that aside, I politely request that my thread be re-opened.

Euroslavia and I had a "when Mods Collide" moment in your thread, and had already agreed to reopen it (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9615154&postcount=36) before you posted.
My earlier comment was a polite jab, intended to tell you that it should never be a requirement for readers to be aware of your post history when deciding what you meant. Our standard is that of a new player, coming to the boards for the first time. While there may be some Generalites who are aware of you (or judging by your name, an earlier incarnation), you should not assume that 'everyone knows Gymoor'. I can assure you, they don't.

Lol, agreed with and empathized with.
While I don't expect everyone to know me or get my intentions, I do expect them to do more than scan something before they find it objectionable...and that's all that was really necessary. My thanks for reopening my thread, good sir or ma'am.

We're both sirs.

We're both sirs.
I stand (or rather sit) corrected.
