I think that this does come under 'graphic content'. The descriptions of 'literal mountains' of bodies, and 'vile fluids', even better: 'gaping holes in their heads'.

A complaint in Moderation because your writing's too evocative? Wow, Automagfreek, it's not often a writer gets a compliment like that!

Seriously, though, I'll be interested to see the mods' reaction. I usually assume RPs have more leeway than, say, General posts. All the same, I just edited one of my posts about a priest being cavity-searched before he was allowed to see a prisoner. Now you'd already have to know about what I meant to know what I meant, if you see what I mean.

Most RPers warn if there's graphic sex or violence in their work. Most of us know that 13- and 14-year-olds play NS. Most of us keep our Yuk!-factor to a level equal to or below what you'll see on TV (outside the RL news, of course). Self-censorship's a useful discipline; it helps us learn one of the tricks of the trade. Outside censorship? Hey, watch those hackles rise!

Old readers/fans would already know what to expect from Automagfreek. I don't see anything a new reader should expect to be warned about in the thread quoted (unless it's the typos, snipe, snipe!). But maybe my perceptions have been blunted by reading too many airport novels (or the news, as above).

It's going to be an interesting call, mods. Glad I don't have to make it.

One of my other nations had a post deated by a mod for being graphic and it wasn't even this close.

AMF got my sympathy.

It really isn't that bad. Not actionable in my opinion.

Oh, Euro, and you used to be so sensitive! I suppose being a Mod has hardened you to hideous scenes of pain and suffering, death and destruction ...
