I feel that I am not getting results from Mods. I know that they are all volunteers, and that they aren't getting paid...and they are overworked, and everything else...but I'm reaching the end of my string. How can I go up to the next (Administrative) level where my complaints may finally be heard?

i'm really not trying to create trouble here, but I wish my case to be heard by those on a higher level. I want to appeal to a higher court. How do I do this?

I really wished you took my advice and took a brake from NS, or at least the forum.
Save all the messages you get from the stalker, and deal with it though getting help. That stalking weirdo is probably really getting a kick out of your posts here.

You put the request in this morning, do you expect them to drop everything to get to your request? Game moderators get hundreds of requests, so you need to be patient.

No, No...Euroslavia...they addressed the complaint. but not in a satisfacvtory manner. They claimed there was "no apprent connection" between the latest folks to harass me...and the previous harassers...IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT THE NOTES THE NEW HARASSER LEFT IN OUR REGIONAL BOARD MADE DIRECT REFERENCE TO THOSE INCIDENCES....and in spite of the fact that the previous harassers and these guys...have very similar nation names.

I mean, what does it take to get Mods to see the forest for the trees, that is what I'm asking here.

If Mods will not act, and they seem to not want to in this case...then I want to appeal to a higher court, that will take the time to review my case...and actually SEE the connections that those who responded to my complaint cannot...or will not see.

I want to bump my case up to a higher court, as it were.

I'm trying to be nice about this...i'm trying to work with Mods here...but it is a little difficult when Mods won't work with ME. And just how long am I supposed to contain my frustration and rage over continued failure to act?

Yes, the connections are obvious ... but they aren't PROOF. We're not stupid or obtuse here, but Moderation, like the courts, works on evidence, not hearsay and supposition. Unless we can use systemic evidence to prove that they are one and the same, they enjoy the same presumption of innocence as every other player.

I dealt with close to 250 cases today. Probably averaged about 45 seconds on each. I spent close to an hour researching your complaints, reading your miles-long responses, and responding in kind. Despite that, you STILL aren't satisfied. You want it NOW, and if it doesn't happen instantly, it's because we DON'T CARE.

Bullshit. You're getting the same or better service as everyother player here. You continue to slap us at every opportunity, while taking no responsibility on yourself. You don't give us time or evidence to build a case, it's got to happen on YOUR schedule. Well, darlin', that's not how it works.

As I told you TWICE already today, you can work with us to help us build a case, or you be be shrill and point fingers and just piss us off. You've chosen the latter. You go ahead and appeal the process before it's even begun if that's your choice - the process is posted for all to see in The One-Stop Rules Shop. As for me, I've had it with being insulted and blamed for stuff that happened a year before I joined the game. Find yourself another mod.

Enough is enough. Quit punishing the victims, or demanding that the victims continue to keep their cool in the face of a three-year long vendetta, while Mods do absolutely nothing to stop it.

Why have rules against harassment and griefing if y'all Mods can't or won't enforce them?

I'm tired of having Mods who cannot or will not deal with the problem, until the point when I finally break, and then I end up a victim of the Mods, because I got punished by having the nation that meant the most to me in the whole world DEATed, because I could no longer take it.

Lyric wants a permanent solution to this problem, but sometimes there is no permanent solution. There are some harrassers that have had literally hundreds of nations deleted, and still keep on coming. For technical reasons, we can't block all of them (though I for one would be delighted to permanently block a few prominent ISPs). There are other reasons, including instructions given to us by the site owner and admins, why we can't always INSTANTLY respond to such problems.

To deal with some of these people, you MUST use patience, experience, and even guile to resolve the issue. I'm not going to sit here and have somebody else tell me that their impatience is MY fault. Yes, it's frustrating. So are many things in life. If you can't deal with it, how does that make it MY fault?

We're doing what we can, when we can. If that's not enough, then perhaps this site is the wrong place to be for some people.

In my own defense, I reacted as I did, because the note I got back from Mods claimed there was "no apparent connection" between the harassers who have been after me for nearly 3 years...and this latest group about whom I complained, despite the fact that the connections were quite obvious.

Firstly, the similarity in the nation names/mottos...secondly, the fact that the latest harasser actually ADMITTED to being the same guy who had been harassing me in previous incarnations...and reveled, gloated, bragged and rubbed my face in the fact that he got my favorite nation DEATed.

And then to be told there was "no apparent connection" because these puppet nations were only one day old!! Yeah, so? How hard is it for a person hell-bent on breaking the rules to create a new nation, after one gets DEATed...and come right back to continue the campaign of harassment?

To my eyes, it appeared as if no one was willing to take my complaint of repeated rules violations, by the same guy, under a host of different nation names...seriously.

So, for future reference, then...would you mind detailing EXACTLY...just what kind of proof you need, and how much of it you need, before you all will act?

I'll happily get it for you. But if I don't even know what will move you to act...after I have suffered repeated attacks over three years...well, can you not understand the level of frustration this engenders?

I was blaming Mods, past and present, for the continued apparent lack of a resolve. I'm sorry if you took personal offense.

And, in closing...now that the matter HAS been, at least for the moment, adequately resolved (the three offending nations got DEATed)...I would like to offer my thanks for the action the Mods have taken.

And I want to know, for future reference....exactly what and how much evidence you need, because I do not expect this guy, after three years, to just pick up his toys and go home because you DEATed three of his nations. I fully expect to hear from him again, and I would like to know, in advance, exactly what I need to do to get some action.

I'm not, by nature, vindictive, I don't care if this guy does or does not play NS, as long as he just leaves ME the hell alone!
