To Tactical Grace
First of, Apologies to the Mods, but I didn't want to Hijack a thread and off topic. sorry if putting this here was wrong, but I really didn't know where else to hold this without all of General getting involved and turning this into a campfire of Flaming.
from New Orleans police lose hundreds to cowardice (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=442252&page=6&pp=20)
Careful how, LOL? I've had occasion to delete and forum-ban people for it before, so it's not as if my judgement is flawed. A troll can be recognised as such, the way a spade is a spade.then shal we take this to the mods then?
I have not attacked anyone personally, I have stated my point, and have asked that I not be put in the same boat with Sick Dreams,
yet, the first attack, I see as an opinion by The Lone Alliance and thus let it slide. Post 59 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9582596&postcount=59)
then came The Lone Alliances Second post against the poster, not the topic.. Post 104 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9582945&postcount=104) and again, I view that as not trolling for how it was worded thus I chose to clarify my standing so that I won't be mistaken to be in total agreement with Sick Dreams
then you... They're just trolls. People got caught up in a tragedy, and all they can do is pile on the playa hate. to actually attack the poster by calling them a troll? and you a former Mod? how exactly am I trolling and you not flamebaiting with that post as well as the one quoted above?

Calling someone a troll is not flaming.

The premise of the thread (New Orleans police / suicides are cowards) is likely to offend a great deal of people given the sensitivity of the current situation, and the vitriolic nature and tone of posts made by yourself and the thread starter are not conductive to civilised debate. The resulting flaming and flamebaiting by some of the players responding to the thread, while wrong, only strengthens the argument that such reaction was provoked, with an awareness of the likely result.
Thus the trolling appears to have been successful. In merely commenting on this state of affairs, having attempted to debate the point within the rules from the beginning, I can hardly be said to be inviting further flames.
My intention was to point out the error of your ways, and not a thread hijack. I also note that you, not me, dragged this to the attention of the Moderation staff.
First off, I would like to say that I am not angry. not pissed, just insulted to be called a troll. that's all. I am looking for what I posted that could be considered trolling.

The flaming by others I've ignored because I do realize it's an emotional topic and to my knowledge, I didn't flame back. I have stated that I am not in 100% agreement with Sick Dreams, and backed only the points I am debating upon.

I placed this in Moderation because I didn't want this turning into a flamefest nor any cries of Mod Oppression. as MGH has pointed out, you calling me a troll is not flame and I will accept that. but I would like to know what I posted that makes you think My purpose was trolling.

This is a dispute with you and Tactical Grace. It doesn't belong here, unless its a complaint to Moderation, which has been solved already. Please take the further clarification somewhere else.

I really didn't want this turning into a flame fest and if I did post something trollish by accident, I would like to know so I don't repeat that.
