This Cpt_Cody guy is really pissing me off with his purile insults. This is the third or fourth time in this thread, and I refuse to put up with it any more. I would like him reprimanded.
I am placing him on ignore before I really blow my top on him...I have all I can do, already, to keep myself from ripping his head off! (In a figurative sense, of course) It's one thing to attack my opinion. It is another to suggest that I have low intelligence. I have 160 IQ dammit, and I am NOT going to tolerate some rotten lousy rabid Bush supporter to attack MY IQ, just because my opinion differs from his!
Personally I see nothing worthy of reprimand other than you blowing your stack. The individual in question was stating his opinion of your responses, and indicating that your arguments had nothing to do with what he had to say. Whether it's true or not I don't know; I didn't read that closely. However, his language was largely civil if unflattering, and he seemed to use common debating tactics found in General.
I'm very happy for you and your 160 I.Q., but you seem awfully touchy about it. I recommend that you learn to laugh at yourself. I usually place around 140 but that doesn't stop me from calling myself an idiot when I make a mistake.

Quite frankly, I'm with Treznor on this one. I'm not a moderator either, and neither have I read any of the posts involved. I don't feel I need to, as neither of you are right, most likely.
If you've put him on ignore... IGNORE HIM.
If you can't ignore him... remember that this is only a game.
If you can't remember that this is only a game... do something else.
If you can't do something else... seek professional help.
If you can't do that... well, at least tell us your name, so we'll be able to read the paper some morning after your psychotic episode and killing spree and say, "Hey, isn't that that idiot from NationStates?"
It doesn't matter what your IQ is. IQ is a measure of how much information your brain will hold, not how well you use it. So you have a 160? Do you honestly think that you're the only one here with a score like that? Moreover, do you really trust the source of this score? Whether you do or not is irrelevant, though.
You see, you can have the highest IQ on the planet and still be a moron about a lot of things. In fact, it seems to actually make your chances of being a moron GREATER (ironically enough). You, like everybody else, will have to work at not behaving like a simpleton when simpletons behave like themselves in your direction. They have an excuse, at least. You don't.
Bottom line? Don't sink down to his level. Or, now that you have already, try pulling yourself back up. You're a bright boy, so act like it. Recognize that some battles are worth fighting, and some battles aren't.
