Just ran across an rather horrific image of a dead body linked in a sig without warning. The The One-Stop Rules Shop (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=416023) doesn't say anything about these sorts of images or links. Are they allowed? (Not naming names yet. I'll wait for a mod to answer.)

Wouldn't it kinda fit under the Obscene and Explicit content part of it? I know its not specific but sounds like a mention. Just my half cent.

Hmmm. Yeah. I was think obscene and explicit as usually used to mean sexual content, but I guess that'd cover it.

Let me go hunt up the sig.

You are not allowed to link to graphic images of dead bodies.

Not a Mod any more, but that was the policy when I was.

I thought that was the rule, but I didn't see it, thus the question.

Calling "dead bodies" obscene, doesn't quite cover it. Just think for yourself: Would I show these pictures to a 10 years old? Some people might say "I will!" in even the most severest cases, but they are beyond help :p Normal people will not deliberately show these kind of pictures to minors. "Deliberately" meaning, posting them on places where they know that young people and minors can see them. That covers 90% of the internet, but that is not my fault.

Images of graphic violence or gore are very strictly NOT allowed. I've dealt with the signature.
