Post this topic, which walks a close line to open flamewar when usually posted, is certainly flamebait unde the title and poll options (even if the OP claims it was a joke).

I can see that there might have been a problem if he hadnt incorporated the following line in -- especially in big, obvious letters.
I think I'll need to state this thread is intended for friendly jiving at the expence of sportstar only and is not intended to collapse into a flame war. if it does, I so dead guys... so DON'T! a'ight?
And for the fact that Euroslavia has intervened already to make said text smaller (a readable size) without additional comments as to the poll / topic of conversation...

Yeah, I see little wrong with it. Its a joke thread... big deal. Of course, on the offhand it does pose for some danger of provoking someone to flame, on the offchance that they miss Rotovia's note. *shrugs*.

Katganistan took care of it. His first post, combined with the line: "Omg! You're the smartest person in the history of complete mental retardation..." was certainly trolling. I didn't have time to check out the thread, and only reduced the font of Rotovia's disclaimer.
Ahh, tis a sad day indeed when the fine art of silliness can be cast into the same vat as trolling.

It may have been a flame, but I think that there just may be some times when a post is so completely out of step that it could be rationalized, if not justified. This occasion may not have been it - but if any came closer than this I've not yet seen it.
