Thread locked.
I see how it goes. I make a thread about mundane threads, and that we should do something about it (like, er, make better threads), then Eutrusca posts in it, turns the entire topic upside down, and totally kills the thread.
It wasn't about the Sheehan threads. It wasn't about Gay Marriage threads. It wasn't even about the Iraq War threads. It was about boring threads in general.
Way to go, guys. Back up a guy who ruined my thread, but close my thread for doing nothing at all. If anything, you should've warned HIM for trolling, because that's exactly what he did. He does it very often (along with passive and direct flaming), yet you barely snap at him for doing it.
Don't deny it --- A good deal of us see it all the time, and very little happens to him.

I do have to say that I did disagree with the assesment that it was trolling. I don't like 'all the threads suck' threads but at best their spammy. That Eutrusca managed to somehow take that as a personal attack is all on him, and a little shallow considering he's made a thread like Potaria's like a week ago that was specific in the threads he didn't like. I know it's minor to quibble over the type of locked thread it should be called, but still...

I don't disagree with it being locked-or maybe sent to spam or whatever. I guess it just didn't read as an attack on anyone really to me. Just your run of the mill "NS isn't entertaining me right now" snit.
But whatever. I'm not really bent either way about it. I think I was still more or less stunned that someone took something that generic as a personal affront.

If you're worried it was an official warning, it wasn't. If you can't see calling threads other people obviously are passionate about posting in 'shitty' is trolling for flamey responses, then there's no point discussing it further.
If the socio-political-religious content of a forum devoted to a game based on these systems is so abhorrent, I wonder what the attraction of posting there is, in all honesty....

Eutrusca was making a poin, you're acting like 'Just because none of these threads intrest me right now, I'm gonna diss them all.' A lot of people around the world other then you find these threads 'likeable' and if you don't like what's being put on or in threads, just don't come around the forums anymore. Kay?
