Been in & out of lots of various forums for about 5 or 6 years, done moderating & Admin myself on a few & didn't realise such things were frowned upon here. Dumb of me. Won't do it again ;)

Thing is i am completely unfamiliar with the Jolt layout and features and fear that not all my questions are dealt with in stickies or the FAQ (still making my way through them after several hours reading - i won't post any till i'm finished though...could be a while..., well, ok, maybe two). Is there a way to send personal messages to individual people (i.e. moderators) as many do not need an "open" answer (i'm probably the only person interested in it) or do i use the in-game telegram thingy for ooc & ic things? And who should i direct my questions to? What i mean is should i ask specific questions to specific mods depending on what the subject is or keep an individual mod as my point of contact for all questions who will then ask the relevant people, knowing who they are?

I appreciate the time you've taken to read and consider this and look forward to your respone(s)

The stickies represent the accumulated knowledge of the past couple year's experience with the game and the forums. If you have technical questions, try the Tech forum stickies. If you have RP questions, NationStates and International Incidents are the RP forums, and they have stickies of their own. Rules are covered in the One-Stop Rules shop in this very forum, along with the game rules specified in the FAQ.

Please don't send telegrams to the mods. Everything that is public knowledge is already out there, and anything we've chosen to keep hidden will continue to be hidden. Mods are not here to answer all questions, we're here to deal with rulebreaking. Posting a short thread in an appropriate forum will get you a better answer, often from the player base who keep abreast of such things.
