How do we rid these boards of moderation? I'm getting tired of random enforcment of absurd interpetations of the rules.

Well the boards will never lose moderation, although if you don't like it, you are always welcome to leave.

You don't.

You, the consumer, are always free to choose a board that conforms to your ideal. We are not holding you prisoner here.

I come to the boards because I enjoy the threads, however I often find random moderation wrecking threads I enjoy reading and participating in and the mildest snarky or sarcastic response refered to as a "flame". If someone can figure out a way to fix this without getting rid of all the damn nannymods be my guest.

The moment the flames start, any intelligent discourse (assuming the thread had it in the first place) ceases to exist and it becomes a shouting-fest. We need mods. If anything, I think they should increase their activity, because there have been a lot of flames recently that have gone unpunished.

I have the best idea for you EI.

Read the topics you enjoy, respond to them in a civil manner being sure to argue the argument, and not the poster, and one day you may be graced with moddom, and you can help to end the 'random moderation' you see so often.

If you'd rather not do that, then I don't know what to tell you, as it seems that most of us have been happy with what actually appears to be fairly consistant moderation.

Goddess of Discord, huh?
Sorry if you don't care for the rules, but they will be applied. Oh, and you can stop trolling and flamebaiting any time now, really. ;)
