Racist comments and just plain hatred

We can't have a decent discussion about trying to get along with each other, regardless of race, without some angry racist jumping in, can we? Why should I be forced to sit here and be insulted just because someone's (not even mine, my family wasn't American at the time) ancestors enslaved another person's ancestors? He's just keeping racial tensions alive with these ghastly statements.

From what I can tell, they are having a decent conversation. Keruvalia gives some valid points about the history of racism. No action taken.

Pretty much any other pale face with a beef can cram it.

Double-standard alert: Imagine if someone had said, "any darkie with a beef can cram it." The mods would have pounced on him like dogs on a steak.

The question here is: why are mods so hypocritical and prone to double-standards? I noticed that leftist/communists who flame or flamebait are almost never chastised, and on the very rare occasions they are, they receive little more than a slap on the wrist. However, conservatives/right-wingers are punished for the tiniest misdemeanors. Double-standard alert!

Provide examples, El Caudillo, since you are so eager to throw a 'bias' tag onto all of the moderators.

So calling someone the 'N' word is a misdemeanor? Interesting...
You seem to have missed the entire point of why 77Seven77 received a warning, while Keruvalia didn't. For reference, after reading the Racism thread, I had absolutely no reason to actually know that either of them were conservative or liberal.

2 things, first, I am an ultracon, never once had a prob with 'mod bias.'

Second, Euroslavia just locked a topic (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=437781) that was about the same thing as this new complaint. Wouldn't the post by El Caudillo not only be bypassing the lock, but a semi-hijack as well?

As Euroslavia said, it isn't so much what you say, but how you say it. Ker was using his statement as a summnation of his entire post, a post with actual content. 77 on the otherhand, did not post actual content, nor even attepmted to rebut the post of Ker, but instead, attacked Ker personally.

This is why the one recieved a warning, and the other didn't, at least as I saw it.

2 things, first, I am an ultracon, never once had a prob with 'mod bias.'Probably because there is none. No worries though. The next time we warn a liberal, we'll be a bunch of neo-con facists.

Wouldn't the post by El Caudillo not only be bypassing the lock, but a semi-hijack as well?Actually, I think I locked it, but no matter. This isn't exactly bypassing a lock as these were two threads over the same thing. The other one had been wrapped up and was starting to stray towards discussions of posting styles, so I figured it was done.

It also isn't a semi-hijack as he is (aparently) disagreeing with a Moderator action (or in-action), and has decided to complain, in his own hostile manner.

EDIT: Actually, Euro locked it.
