A dumb question for Kat and Fris (the two that have answered here)

What determines if a thread gets DEAT, Lockified, or moved to spam? Does it depend on how spammy the content is? Or is it just for the mood of the mods?

It's always a judgement call.

In this case, the poster had 10 posts, all of which were essentially identically spammy. There being absolutely no content to anything he had posted, I chose to delete his entire post history. I also looked at his nation and deleted offensive content there. Had the nation been 'clean', I probably would have simply locked too.

I probably should have looked through the content of the one thread that got the most responses and issued warnings to the anti-n00bs as well, but I didn't have the free time for that. Thus, deleted.

I'll let Katganistan post her own reasons, if she chooses.
