This is my thread and I felt it has been totally hijacked, and I have been flamed myself for holding views that I have:

http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=9377590

I request it be locked.

Dude--you added the request for me to leave after I'd started my reply. I'm done and out of there and I wasn't flaming you, no matter what you think of my questions. Don't overreact.

No. You made a response to me and you pressed with the issue. I want the thread locked. I'm not over-reacting. Just your intolerance and flaming.

Perhaps for now, I can reccomend the two of you try to avoid each other, maybe take a breather the rest of the night? If that doesn't work, maybe put each other on your ignore lists...

Eh I still want the thread locked.

There is a difference between thread ownership, as explained by Frisbeeteria some time ago. In roleplaying threads, the author can simply request that someone's post be deleted; however, in general, it is different. Just because someone is disagreeing with you, doesn't grant you the option of having it closed; therefore, your request is denied.

From what I can see, The Nazz didn't hijack your thread, and was essentially discussing matters that were similar to your first post, though he did get a little excessive with the swear words, and for that, just a reminder to him to keep it civil.

I don't agree. I simply think he was trying to bring up falsehoods to bash my views.

Just because someone doesn't agree with you, doesn't mean that they are automatically trying to bash your views. I'd suggest that you not take things so personally, Mesatecala, as he was trying to continue on with a legitimate debate.

I suggest you look more closely at what he has done. It is considered flaming as he suggested that it was impossible to hold my views. This isn't legitimate debate. It is inappropriate.

I suggest you cool down.

I have reviewed the thread and I see no need to lock it. There is no thread ownership in General; it is not "your" thread. This is a open forum with a wide range of views expressed by its regulars. We are not going to lock threads simply because people strongly disagree with you.

Euroslavia's ruling is supported.
