I contend that the warning on that thread is insufficient as the picture is not "semi-graphic," but actually disturbingly graphic. I, at least, was not prepared to see what I saw by the "semi-graphic" warning.

It was a dog that tangled with a porcupine. There is little blood evident in the picture, and I wonder if it is not a photochop to begin with, as I can't POSSIBLY imagine anyone standing around to take a picture if their pooch were in pain.

I should hope no one would (and I believe it is photoshopped too).

Still, real or not, I don't think "semi-graphic" covers a bleeding animal with porcupine needles in what appear to be its eyes. :\

I think that's real. The vet would take photos for their internal press (they do that and so do doctors.) but it is very nasty an a pointless thread.
