That's most of it, but the level of debate here was a -6 out of 10. I know I'm acting on impulse right now, but after what I had to endure, even I crack sometimes.

More mild flaming:

For the record, I was the only one here who posted links to my sources. Also, notice how he doesn't answer my question. I guess this isn't as such an issue of flaming as incredibly bad debate and intolerance.

I really don't think this is bad enough for a ban, but the level of debate here was, as I said, below the norm, filled with personal attacks and failing to answer, at first, polite questions. AGH, I guess I just had to get it off my chest here. Well, what do the mods think? Am I overreacting in crazed liberal "hysteria," or am I actually sort of right?

I think Mesatecala is simply a young person and an inexperienced user who is getting a bit overzealous. (judging by his posts here and in a thread of mine) Probably a polite point to the rules would be all that it takes.

Are you overreacting in crazed liberal "hysteria," or actually sort of right?

(I thought liberals were always crazed and histerical? - jk ;) )

na, I think you're sort of right. (or left - or whatever - you know what I mean)

Look at his own posts please. He was flaming me in a much more severe way. I'm not young nor am I inexperienced at debates. In fact I made a very strong argument in the Chinese economy thread, and the homosexuality threads. A very strong argument.

And bozzy.. you sure would say that.. especially after I debunked your argument in the other thread.

Please remain civil... moderation is not the place for the debates to continue, nor for a flame war to start...
