The founder of Astrum Lucidus ( a once prosperous region full of school friends which has now almost evaporated ) has left and I am the oldest surviving member state. Is there any way the founder could be changed to me, Vallus? Anstresa would agree to it.

Founders are only replaced under exceptional circumstances, such as a stream of griefings or other major problems. Having a founder nation expire is not considered exceptional.

So, "no".

So what exactly is a stream of griefings?

So what exactly is a stream of griefings? When a founder died because of inactivity (deletion makes mods very slow to act) and a region is constantly under attack by invaders. The regional HQ cannot be accessed because the founded turned it off or the invaders are ejecting everybody. If this happens once or twice, no action will be taken.

When it happens like the region ITALIA, mods will do something. But don't ask me the details about it.

umm....

it's more like a delegate goes nuts with the ejection button, and it happens a lot of times. and still, Italia didn't exactly get what they wanted :D

if a founder is dead, delegate always gets access to RC, and what do you mean with HQ?

the Only way to get a new founder is to refound the region.

And if there is no UN Delegate and no Founder, what happens then? Time to make a new region?

And if there is no UN Delegate and no Founder, what happens then? Time to make a new region? If no Delegate or Founder exists, then nobody has access to Regional Control. In this case, you have to either refound the region or elect a new Delegate.
