So, just to be sure (and to satisfy my own paranoia ;) )

Someone has offered to give me possession of two of their puppet nations and have provided me with the passwords for those nations.

My question is, am I permitted (in terms of game rules) to take possession of these two nations (neither of which is a UN nation) for use as puppets?

You could but It would seem dishonest of you to use them in the forum, Their rank and post count aren't yours, unless they have none then feel free...


Don't listen to the mods they just want to control you......

When you take over a puppet from another player, you also inherit any warnings they might have accumulated, any negative impressions they might have made on the forums, etc. You can do it, but it's risky. Unless you are 100% sure that they have been handled legally, I'd advise against it.

That is also true. I didn't think about inheriting 'warnings'. I suppose that I should just let them expire as I don't know what those nations were used for or by whom. Besides, why have someone else's puppets!

Wait, i thought any puppets were illegal? Did I just see a Mod advocate the use of puppets?

It's legal to have as many puppets as you like. Accepting puppets from other people is equally legal - as long as you only have one nation in the UN.

A puppet isn't necessarily UN. You are thinking of more than one UN puppet which is, yes, quite illegal.
