I know I sound like a n00b saying this, but I was just wondering about something. I had a topic closed and got no reason for it. Once more, I searched and didn't see any threads in moderation complaining about what I'm doing.

I know its in a way baiting, but I thought that most IC actions were covered as "safe" as long as we didn't personally insult people. There were no OOC insults, and I wasn't flaming people. Yes, I was trying to provoke an IC war, but that's because I'm super bored this summer. If the mod in question who locked it could tell me why, I'd be happy with just knowing why.

yeah, but this (like most of my "I hate @group@" threads) was just done for the heck of it. Ex: Homosexual men, Animal wackos, hippies, drug addicts. I pick on one group and do the most outlandish thing I can think of. That's all I was doing here.

I wasn't trying to be offensive, and nobody complained OOCly nor did a mod pop in to tell me to cease. That's why I'm a little confused.

I wouldn't mind it if someone actually told me why they lock this. Is it because the mod who locked it is a hippy? If so, we can take this to general and debate it until one of us backs down.

Seriously, if you locked my threads, at least have the decency to show your face and tell me why you're doing this.

Trolling, sex slaves, restarting a locked thread...

Locked- I only restarted it because nobody told me why it was locked, and I didn't see any complaints. Whenever I have had a thread locked before, someone at least told me.

But sex slaves? No. That is where i draw the line. I don't include that kind of stuff in what I write.

But what I'm really asking is why the first thread was locked in the first place.

Male hippies have revolted in Hunting Reserve Colony Alpha. Approximately 500 males and 1500 females are in the facility, and over fifteen hunters have disappeared, only to be found days later stripped of all their hunting gear. Sleeping gas was fed throughout the entire colony, the females removed, sold, and the males armed. We are now opening the hunts to all people age 16 and over, however the bodies will only be subject to photographs as it shall be shoved out the airlock instead of the traditional mounting.

Also, restarting a locked thread isn't exactly the brightest thing in the universe.

just because a person was sold doesn't mean they were sex slaves. The females in the thread were removed for a reason. The males were the only ones capable of fighting, and if we removed the females, it would anger them even more to make it a truly dangerous hunt.

I know I'm not going to get the thread unlocked, I'm doing this so players won't just assume what I wrote. everything was done for a reason. Mine was to provoke a war. Stupid me, i forgot that those who care for hippies are peacemongers and will not fight a war even if their survival is at hand.

As I said, I did this to piss players off so they'd wage war against me. I was almost successful, but overplayed my hand and they backed down.

Crazed Marines, the Moderators have made their desision and have also made it clear enough that they wont be reversing the move - which in my opinion was fair enough. Deal with it.
