Please delete my other nation!

I have two nations on NS, this one and New Nerotika, which I created for a friend but he didn't want. Fine and dandy. Except whenever I open NS, New Nerotika logs in automatically. I turned off the "log me in automatically" setting, but it still happens. I can't find the Autologin cookie and a blanket cookie wipe would not go down well with the parents. So I am requesting that a moderator delete New Nerotika. Please.

No idea how to solve your problem, but mods won't delete your nation.

Just wait 28 days without logging into that nation. It will cease to exist.

lol that's kinda hard if it automatically logs into that nation! Or maybe try acessing the NS pages through the Internet history...you get there but it doesn't log you in, then just log on as your nation, bypassing the auto log-in. I second the notion that Mods won't delete your nation.

Perhaps, instead of deleting all of your cookies, just delete the ones that have to do with NationStates?
There are a number of things you can do:
1. The best option is probably to use the Getting Help (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/65127/page=help) page (available off the FAQ section)
2. You could make your page in violation of NS policy. Suggestions include using porography as your flag and obscene words or phrases for your motto, currency and animal names.
3. Put the nation you want to keep in vacation mode and then don't log on for 28 days.
4. Only log on to the nation you want on other computers and don't log on using your computer for 28 days.
I hope that helps :).

There would be no use in filing a Getting Help Request. The moderators don't delete nations on request.

I suggest that you do NOT listen to this advice. Suggesting that someone purposely breaks the rules is bad advice.
3. Put the nation you want to keep in vacation mode and then don't log on for 28 days.
Putting your nation of vacation mode makes the time limit for deletion increase to 60 days, not 28.

I understand that. The suggestion is to put the nation to be kept on vacation mode. That way in 28 days the one nation will be deleted and the other will be saved.

If Falcania Prime doesn't want to go through the cookies, deleting any that have to do with NS, and can avoid going to NS for 28 days on his/her computer (though he/she can check their nation on other computers), then by all means, go for it.

We don't delete nations by request, and violating the rules with the intent of being deleted is a very bad idea, and rarely has the effect people want.
If you open the folder where your cookies are stored and do a file search (in that directory only) for 'nationstates' and simply delete all the cookies that pop up.
An alternative would be to log in using a different browser.

This works for me every time.
Go to a different computer and log on as the nation that you do not want.
Change the password.
Now your computer cannot log you on as the nation that you don't want because your computer doesn't have the right password.

Hmm, I tried most of that, but the only thing that seems to work is Vacating, which I have done. Fal Prime is now on Vacation mode. Which is fine, but I cannot check my TGs.
Set the bookmark to http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/54331/logout=1. That gives you the default page after you have logged out of all nations. I used to have the same problem. I changed the bookmark and now everything is fine.
