It's pritty blatent.

It looks like sarcasm to me, but all it's led to is a whole lot of spam. (myself included in the spammers:() And even if it is sarcastic, it still is trolling or trollbaiting (I'll let a mod decide).

well, it does reflect the tone of some of the threads on General. Most of the threads in General is either Anti-Christian or Anti-American. so while it can be considered Trolling, it can also be a sarcastic view on the Threads in General.

And I'm just curious. But why was the thread locked AFTER Steph condemned it? I don't want to jump to conclusions, but it's not like she doesn't have an annoying history of this...

The whole thread was amusing to me and everything, up until I saw that nasty little "locked" button where a "reply" button should be.


EDIT: And I was being sarcastic and did not mean to troll. I don't even know it when I troll. And let's not act like we don't expect flames to arise from pretty much every debate thread in General. We try to act civilized, but then those annoying buggers come in and start provoking you...then you watch flames just shoot at your eye and you scream in pain. Oh yeah baby.

Look, I'm just saying that there's a good chance that among the mods and players, you hold some social power. And that you might want to watch what you say and when you say. You never know that if you say something, everyone else will be worried about going up against you and start siding with you, or just shut up from any argument.

My two cents on you. You may be an Ex-Moderator, but it's not like people quit listening to you as if you were one. You should have as much power as some newbie with 5 posts, as much power as Czardas, and as much power as me. Am I not correct?

Fine, no point in arguing. But I did not troll. I was being sarcastic and knew from sheer common sense and experience that flames were likely to follow, and I stated that it was a possibility.

Sarcasm is not allowed on NationStates. It's a hard lesson to learn.

I didn't actually look past the first page on this. It may have been tongue-in-cheek, but it most certainly was troll-baiting. You threw out a potentially inflamatory responce and then logged off, wanting to see what responces you got.

No need to open it, no need to warn over it.

And no need for this thread to continue.
