Thread deleted?

This thread was deleted from the NS2 forum. Why? http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=430044

It wasn't against the rules. The NS2 forum's description says:
"Rumour, innuendo, and vicious slander about the much-anticipated NationStates sequel."

Now, obviously, that's being said rather tongue-in-cheek. But it does imply that you allow criticism, yes? The thread had also been there for several days, a moderator had even replied to it, and nothing about the content had changed to be against the rules.

And if you'd prefer that all discussion on NS2 costing money be kept to the single thread on it, then you could have merged it. And if you still can, I'd appreciate it if you would. Or, if you'd allow me to do so, I'll simply repost the article (with some revisions) in the other, large thread. Thanks.

Um... the link you gave shows the thread is still in the NS II forum.

It isn't. Look:
http://forums.jolt.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=1228

And moderators?! What happened? My other thread just suddenly went "missing", as well. And that one was just talking about a design-flaw you'd need to fix for NS2!

This second thread that was in the NS2 forum, but was removed (the thread still exists, but not accessible, except through links) can be found here:

Both are there. I can see them both, access them both, I don't know what your problem is but it appears to be on your end. You can see them here (http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/950/image19su.png).

I've just clicked on both links from the NS II forum, I can access them both. Again, I think it's on your end.

I think I might've figured out your problem, go into your forum settings and see how many threads you're set to display. Make sure you select the display all threads option. I think they're getting cut off because you're only setting a certain number of threads in the last week to show.

It's always much more likely to be a mod conspiracy than user error.

Everyone knows that.

Everyone knows that.

That's just what you wily mods would like us to think!

Umm.

Just to point out. The link works, and low and behold up above it says:
jolt.co.uk public forums > Massive Multiplayer Online Games > NationStates > Anything & Everything > NationStates 2
Why Nationstates 2 Should Not Cost Money (A Lengthy, Well Thought-Out Article)

Which shows it is still in the NS2 thread. Could it be that pesky thing called the "Prune"? Anything that hasn't had any posts in 24 hours is not shown. You can still view it if you have the URL of the thread. And you can still post in it. I would post a good ol' "bump" to liven it up a bit.

That's just the default setting. One of the first things I did after rejoining Jolt was to seek out the setting in Profile / Options and set it to "Show all threads". Changing your own viewing preferences is much preferable to a series of pointless 'bump' posts.

Everyone knows that.
Max is from Australia.

There are more A's in the word, Australia than any other letter.

There are more A's in the names of the Soviet countries than any other letter.

Max's last name is "Barry."

The first letter is the letter B.

"B" is the second letter of the alphabet.

The Russian name, "Boris", begins with the letter B.

"Boris" spelled backwards, spells "Sorib"

"SORIB" is an acronym for a research group in Australia, called the, "School of Industrial Relations and Organisational Behavior" (sounds like brainwashing with high-tech science to me!!)

And what year did the Soviet Union form? 1922.

Just read between the lines, man! Don't use tap-water, stock up on plenty of ammo, and keep your aluminum hat on to stop the government from using CIA mind-control developed during the 70's, under the Stargate project.
