There's nothing wrong with it.

Really?
This is Chris reporting from the relative safety of Southeast London (where a bomb might improve the area, frankly. Maybe bump off some crack pushers..).

How so?

Delete a thread for one sentence??? if that were to happen, then all of the threads in general would have to be locked.

The point was that it was the first post of the thread, and there was a bit more that wasn't exactly in the right taste for the events today, in fact the whole post was poor taste -"oooo, glad i wasn't there to have been blown up!!"

Sorry I couldn't resist it, no offence meant!!

Bad taste? possibly. Deleting the tread? I have seen much much worse, and I think this would set a dangerous precident for future threads.

Again, apologies for the remark, but read it again and I am sure you will find it humourous!

Ok, it is mildly funny. All right, at least a nudge and a request to change the original post.

If you read the post. he is basically describing the fact that he could've been killed, or at least seriously hurt. that kinda makes the adrenaline pump and he might have been trying to use humor to deal with the situation.

NOT a MOD.

Well his "Humor" (It's spelled humour in English - if you use our language, at least use it properly) was in poor taste.

We are NOT going to argue over American vs. British spelling.

Of the underpants, your fellow countryman could have chosen his words more wisely, but given that people react in odd ways under stress, I'm ruling it's the sort of comment one might have made after a close call rather than anything malicious. Ill considered, but an attempt at black humo(u)r which may have fallen a bit flat.

Let's all try to cut each other some slack today, please.

Black humour was essential in helping me and many others get through yesterday without getting overly distressed. El Porro was spot on, I feel.

Besides, I live in the Old Kent Road - Elephant & Castle area and have oft wished that bombs would rain down on the godforsaken hellhole.
