No explanation was received via telegram or made in the thread.

There is no REASON to move this thread, considering there are plenty of other Earth recruiting threads out there.

You're advertising an offsite board which give people real-life nations in a real-life historical perspective. Ie, your thread has nothing to do with Nationstates roleplay.

If you want to telegram your friends about it or post on your regional board that's fine. If you want to create a region for this and adverise it in gameplay that should be fine too, but II is a forum for Nationstates roleplay.

I havent ever seen another Earth-advertising thread moved, Earth 7's thread stayed on the same forum, as did a number of other Earth's in the more distant past.

While moving the thread itself was merely an annoyance, I do have an issue with the fact that no effort was made to inform me of the reason for the move, or that it was made.

We kind of assumed you'd see the redirect next time you looked at II...

I did, but I did not get any sort of explanation as to WHY it was moved.

We move threads when they are not placed in the right forum. We leave a redirect so you can find them. We are NOT going to inform everyone of every housekeeping move we make.
