In that thread, Edit: Katganistan says that talking about warez isn't allowed, and the thread is locked. I know posting around a lock is frowned upon, but I just wanted to say a few things.

BitTorrent isn't the sovereign domain of warez and pirates anymore. Many companies are using it to distribute legitimate software and other resources, completely legally, because of how effective it is.

The PSP was also designed to take advantage of third-party programs downloaded from the internet. For instance: you will soon be able to download photo shoots from Playboy shot specifically for distribution to PSPs.

For all we know, Colodia was asking about what to do with a savegame file he downloaded over BitTorrent, which is very much not warez. I just wanted to say that.

I thought the post was explicitly clear.
Do NOT discuss Warez or illegal downloads on the forums.
If what he's doing isn't illegal, we don't have a problem with it. However, it would be wise to avoid discussing topics that appear to be promoting illegal activities. Not everyone is technically savvy, nor do we wish to have discussions of supposedly-legal actions which are obviously intended to be about illegal activities. ("I support the legalization of marijuana for papermaking and rope" - yeah, right.)

By the way, I ain't Katganistan, and she ain't me. 'Twas her post, linking to my consolidated rules thread, which was assembled from various modly sources and posts.

Heh, sorry. I'm just not used to seeing any of the other mods post here anymore. Saw "Katganistan" and read "Frisbeeteria".

The thread is locked because Colodia specifically ASKED for a lock.

I wasn't complaining about the lock, I was just pointing that out as my reason for starting a new thread instead of posting in that one.
