I see. Pretending to smack someone upside the head and saying that everything goes over their head is a perfectly acceptable method of calling someone a moron. Thank you for clarifying.

Okay, I didn't read this carefully the first time around. Mea Culpa, I apologize.
It's not acceptable and I'll go tell him to knock it off. However, like calling someone a moron, it doesn't immediately result in an official warning as an isolated incident. A persistent pattern of behavior will result in an official warning, but not an isolated incident.

I wasn't looking for an official warning. But considering that I'm "Quite Deadly" from the last time I allowed myself to get drawn into this sort of thing, you basically stated I am to report this sort of thing rather than engage, and I have. How can you establish a pattern if the isolated incidents are unreported?

Look through their post history and find examples of earlier inappropriate behavior, then provide those links to the Mods. That's the best advice I know to give you for establishing a pattern of behavior, but maybe a Mod has better advice. :)

That's how I do it.

...or just save links to questionable posts that you just happen to come across for reporting later.

Thats why i like my "Favorites" for IE. I just save questionable posts as links. If the person appologizes then i delete the link. If they don't then i save it just in case.
