Could you please ask Eutrusca to stop posting so many articles? He's gotten almost as bad if not worse than TRA use to be. He posts at least 2+ articles a day.. he doesn't give really any real comment and just copy/pastes the article. Yes it gets people talking, but it is becoming a little frustrating. If I recall correctly TRA was once deleted for doing the same? If I want to read the news I'll go to a news site ya know? I'd rather read his opinion and then he could always put a link to the article he's posting about? Maybe?
Thanks a lot for your time. If you look at the threads he starts you'll see what I mean, it's about 99% articles.. his latest is here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=427298) and I think that's his 3rd today.. possibly 4th?

In support of my claim..

I will look into this, but not now.
BTW, links to a search thread are notoriously unreliable. No idea why. All I get is Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.
Oh! Sorry about that, I didn't know. And later would be fine, it's not like he's crazy spammer boy or anything, it's just getting annoying. Thanks Fris.

I just ran my own forum search, poster "Eutrusca", criteria, "All forums", "All threads started by". Not surprisingly, I got plenty of hits.
Analyzing the first page of 15, I found nine threads that incorporated a quoted article as the primary portion of the first post. I did not see a reason to explore past the first page. Here they are, including post date, and reply count, in reverse chronological order:Vietnam veterans in Iraq see "different war." Amnesty International no longer has any credibility with me! (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=423363), 02-06-2005, 2:47 PM, 283 repliesIn each of the listed posts (with one exception), Eutrusca begins the quoted passage with a comment of his own stating his general position and inviting comment. Note that some of his older threads have maintained a great deal of interest, and are still on recent pages despite being almost three weeks old.
Without analyzing the content of the following debate (as that is not part of the original question), I find a poster who posts provocative articles that reflect his particular point of view, along with a polite request for comments. He then follows up his original post and responds to questions in the threads. I note that his followup posts tend to be short and rarely satisfy the questioner, though that is not always the case.
By comparison, "The Red Arrow" in his various incarnations was famous for posting incendiary articles with no content of his own in the original post, then following up with cryptic and trollish comments in the following thread. His posts all came from sources widely regarded as disreputable, or at least extraordinarily biased towards a single perspective. By contrast, Eutrusca's posts are from The Associated Press, the New York Times, and other widely recognized news outlets who are generally considered relatively centrist and usually balanced.
Looking at the date-stamp, I see two from today, two from yesterday, and then a scattering going backwards to the first of this month. Note that, per the original request, I am only looking a threads started by Eutrusca. If he also posts articles in-thread, I didn't look for them.
What I see is a poster who wants a lively debate on the forums, and posts provocative and interesting articles that happen (of course) to coincide with his own politics. He makes no attempt to shut down debate from opponents, and while his answers may not always be clear and to the point, there is more of a tendency towards that than away from that.
To sum up, I see an active NSer who contributes his perspective to the forums and welcomes others to contribute theirs. The articles are designed to provoke comment, not suppress it. I don't always agree with his politics (in fact, I often disagree or strongly disagree with his interpretations), but I don't see it as rulebreaking in any meaningful way.
Rebuttals from all sides (and other mods) welcome.

Wow, thanks for being so informative! Kudos!
I will admit I don't always read all his articles, I had just noted them. However what you say makes perfect sense and I accept without any problem your ruling.
Thank you for checking it out. You're very thorough, I'm impressed.
Thank You!

I don't mind the articals people post as long as they are doing it in an informative matter.
Eutrusca is using the articals to back up his viewpoints and opens it up to honest discussion. (or at least lately he's asked for honest discussions. can't remember too far back tho.)
and the Cut and Paste is better for me (tho I can see it getting out of hand) for some links are "Member only" sites and others just don't work.
