Thousands of French women find out what it's like not only to sleep with a winner, but one who doesn't call her "Fraulein." Sadly, widespread use of condoms by American forces forestalls any improvement in the French bloodline.

Just one of the things wrong with that post. Disgraceful to despoil a thread on French sacrifice with such transparent racism.

It's more jingoist xenophobia than racism, but I concur in it being disgraceful.

Post edited. I would dispute, however, that the French sacrificed anything at all. Sacrifice is only sacrifice if it results in victory. If it results in defeat, it is defeat and loss.

It is quoted unedited in post #102, as he edited out the worst bits in his original post.

I suppose it is xenophobia rather than racism, but equally offensive.

Are you saying that the edited version is offensive?

Interesting notion. Does this mean that - in your view - no Americans sacrificed themselves for their country in Vietnam, 1812, Korea, or Somalia? Or do you mean that France is still German-occupied territory given that there is a difference between the loss of a battle and the loss of a war?

It is such an interesting notion that I feel compelled to discover if you have different standards for different countries.

Tactical Grace is correct. Whether it is posted once or 15 times, it's still trolling. It doesn't matter how prevelant it might be elsewhere. The Pamela Anderson / Tommy Lee video is also all over the Internet, but it's still illegal to post here. It doesn't matter if most of the respondents to a thread think it's funny. Trolling is still illegal. In short, KNOCK IT OFF, Whispering Legs. Our tolerance is not unlimited.

Aside: Leperous monkeyballs and Whispering Legs, please take your discussion of the content to the General thread. This forum is for discussing whether it breaks the rules, and nothing else.
